no connection ?

Hello,

Just received the nRF9160-DK and followed instructions but it seems there is no connection, only LED3 is blinking

Location is  Belgium close to Brussels

    I had the same issue a while ago. The LTE-M network of Orange is only fully deployed in Brussels centre.

    If you have a contact person at Orange, you can request them to activate LTE-M on the antenna closest to your location.

    I heard from Orange last year that LTE-M  was ready but not activated, I expected it should be now....

    What about Proximus ?

    What about NB-IoT

    Is the DK trying only LTE-M ?

  • The standard firmware of the nrf9160-DK is LTE-M. So the device will try to connect to the cloud over LTE-M.

    They are ready for LTE-M it seems, but only updating their antenna's if needed. I have not tried Proximus.
