Peripheral Works with nRF Connect Android, but not nRF Connect iOS

I have been developing a peripheral with nRF52832 and SDK 15.3.0.

I only have Android devices, so use nRF Connect Android (Nexus-7 and Sony Xperia XA2) - and everything's fine.

I sent a delivery to the Client. They only had iOS, and said that it  did not work with the iOS nRF Connect!

The Client is remote - I don't have access to their kit, or any further details at the moment.

But I saw that Mohammed has had similar experience:

So:

• Is this a known issue?
   
• What are the things to look for in resolving this?

Hi,

Can you check that you have nrf_ble_gatt.c in your project and that you are correctly handling any ATT_MTU and data lengt update request? If you are already handling these, a sniffer trace would be helpful, but I guess that might be difficult to get?

Yes, nrf_ble_gatt.c is present.

What should I be doing to, "correctly handle any ATT_MTU and data length update request" ?

I am not (intentionally) using any of those.

They are handled in nrf_ble_gatt.c. In on_exchange_mtu_request_evt and on_data_length_update_request_evt. These functions are called from nrf_ble_gatt_on_ble_evt.

Do you have any additional details about the application? what type of device is this? What do they mean when they say that it does not work?

OK - I'll look at that.

UPDATE: nrf_ble_gatt.c. is unmodified from the SDK download.

The application is an environmental  sensor, borrowing a lot from the Thingy.

I just have "it doesn't work" at the moment!
