From the product spec, I can operate in either low power mode or constant latency mode.  It is not clear how much (or what mechanism) compromises the latency when low power mode is enabled.  Should I be able to use low power mode with the soft device and BLE libraries?  What is the worst-case latency, and is it measured from exception edge until processor is up and responding?  Are there some operations that don't work, or don't work well, if low power mode is enabled?  Thank you.

Typically you will need to use constant latency only if for instance you need to take an action within <1us, the current consumption though is much higher (e.g. ~1mA) while in constant latency.

In low power mode the current consumption is a very few uA and is the common usage for any battery powered product, the startup in low power mode time is typically a few us (e.g. typical 3us, but possible up to 10us). In general you can find some description here:
