Support for Coded PHY and Data Length Extension together

Hello,

I'm trying to get as much throughput as possible using the Coded PHY. I noticed that apparently the Data Length Extension feature is not supported together with the Coded PHY.

Is this a SoftDevice or a Bluetooth spec limitation? I found this thread that shows a table taken from who knows where (couldn't find it in the SoftDevice spec), that shows that these features are not supported together in S140 5.0.0-3.alpha. I'm currently using S140 6.1.0. Is the same limitation still present in the newer SDs?

Hello,

The data length is still limited to 27 bytes when using Coded PHY. The reasoning is that longer packets will cause interference issues on long range.

There is a bigger chance for packet loss when you have long packets.
