nRF9160 DK: lte_ble_gateway example project: Does this project allow more than one BLE connection simultaneously?

Hi,

As the title asks, I am using the lte_ble_gateway example project on the nRF9160 DK. I am able to connect one nRF52840 DK to the nRF9160 DK over BLE. I am trying to connect a second nRF52840 DK to the nRF9160 DK, but am having issues. Is this possible? If not, could I be pointed to a sample project that would allow simultaneous BLE connections?

Any help would be appreciated.

One way of doing it is to add bt_scan_start() to the connected callback, at least that worked for me.

Thank you for the response. I implemented the above with a fresh lte_ble_gateway project, but I receive after the first peer connects, which indicates there is a low level error within the callback:

Connecting to...Connected: e4:dd:a0:xx:xx:xx (random)
Connecting to...Connection to peer failed!

OR

Connecting to...Connected: d9:21:67:xx:xx:xx (random)
Connecting to...Connection to peer failed!

Depending on which of the two nRF52840 DKs connects first.

And you have changed the scan filter so it accepts the connection from the DK?

Yes, I have added a second UUID via bt_scan_filter_add(...) and it successfully adds the filter within scan_start(...).

Try adding CONFIG_BT_MAX_CONN=2 to the .conf file.

what about gatt subscription? can i subscribe to two devices gatt? if yes how?
