Automatic BLE connection with an Android Device

Hi,  

I want my nRF52832 to connect automatically/instantly with my Android device like my headphones or my watch for exemple. For that, I'm using the bonding (peer manager) but do I have to use anything else ? Because the bonding is working with my phone and the nrf connect app but don't re-connect instantly like my headphone does.

I'm using the SDK 13.0.0 with peer manager.

What  should I do more ?

Hi, 

Your headphone or watch get reconnected automatically by the Android OS (or by an app). For your device, you should write your own background code to connect to your device automatically. Please have a look here: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/44295/nrf-connect-app-and-autoconnect

Thank you very much for your answer. I have a last question : is the bonding mandatory to do that ? Or the pairing is enough ?
