Can App also support the data delivery

Hi, I am developing the nRF51822 for the BLE device application. For the data delivery I am implement this function based on "button_radio_example(Tx/RX)" example code. It works well as expected between EK and PC. I want to know, is it possible to be supported on the app too? if I developing a app for this purpose. B.R Stanley

  • The button_radio_example is just a simple example of how you can use the radio directly. BLE is a complex protocol, and is not used by the example.

To use the BLE protocol you need to use a SoftDevice, or a protocol stack, for example the S110.

Most smart phones support BLE, which an app can use to communicate with the nRF51822.
