nRf 52, 51 compatibility question.

Question

1. Do I need to make hardware changes when I want to change my SoC chipset with nRF 51 to nRF 52?
2. Does the nRF52 Series require hardware changes when it needs to change to another chipset(for example, nRF52840->nRF52832 or nRF2840->nRF52811)?

1. The nRF52832 is not drop-in compatible with the nRF51 series, nor the rest of the nRF52 series, with the exception of the nRF52810. 2. The nRF52840 is not drop-in compatible with any other device. You will need new boards for the nRF52 series. They are quite similar however, see 52832 Reference circuitry , 52810 Reference circuitry , 52840 Reference circuitry , and 52811 Reference circuitry
