Which IAR embedded version should be used for nRF52832 PCA10040?

Hi,

I am using IAR embedded version 7.40 and my board is nRF52832 PCA10040,while i was checking devices list in IAR IDE under NordicSemi i can see only nRF51 series devices and no nRF52 series.which version will be supporting for my board and i changed SDK versions also but no clue. I am using latest version SDK v.15.3.0.

Please help me on this.

From the release notes for SDKv15.3 I can find:

The following toolchains/devices have been used for testing and verification:

- ARM: MDK-ARM version 5.25
- GCC: GCC ARM Embedded 7.2018q2.update
- IAR: IAR Workbench 7.80.4
- SES: SES 4.12

Also make sure to install the MDK's for your specific IDE:

nRF5x_MDK_8_24_1_Keil4_NordicLicense
