I have an application (key fob) that needs to wake up on a button press. Scan and connect to a specific BLE device, then send one byte of data and disconnect and turn off. The button press and response needs to appear near instantaneous to the user. What is the typical response time that can be achieved? In other words can it be done by just tweaking various settings? Or is multi-second times the norm? For this question assume both ends are under my control and power is not a problem. Transmission range a couple of feet at most.
