nRF52811 wiring diagram and further configuration

Hi guys,

I am a newbie in nRF but with some experiences in embedded systems  . I have just been asked to work on a project that connects a nRF52811 to a nRF91.

I initially went through the documents but as more as I read as more as I became baffled. The pinout layouts seemed confusing to me and I couldn't get which ones are dedicated to a digital connection (UART e.g.).

l am also wondering if there exists any example that developed a UART or SPI connection between nRF52811 and an SoC (e.g. RPI) or PC?

Take a look at the nRF91 DK HW files, it uses nRF52840 but you can replace sheet 2 (the sheet that contains the nRF52840 circuitry) with the nRF52811 reference design.

 

Common for all Nordic products is that no pins are dedicated to any digital peripherals, they can be assigned to any GPIO. Analog peripherals are limited to any of the 'analog' GPIOs, indicated as 'AINx' in the pinout and reference designs.
