nRF24 ESD protection

Do I need ESD package on PCB with nRF24 chip? Is the bubble foil right package or do I really need ESD bag?

For transporting exposed PCBA ESD bags are recommended.

Requred or just recomended? Can the triboelectric effect damage the device or not? Is the chip protected enough to prevent damage in non ESD package or not?
