SAADC example problems

Hello,

I am working with nrf52840. I have read how the SAADC example works at https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v13.0.0%2Fnrf_dev_saadc_example.html&cp=4_0_0_4_4_28. I have compiled the SAADC example and uploaded the .hex file to my board. In the example explanation, it is suggested to connect the AIN0 (P0.02) to GND and then to VDD in order to see the different values of the conversion on the RTT terminal. My problem is that when i do that, the value of the conversion does not change. The output is always the same (I posted a picture of the output on the terminal). Can somebody please give me some advice?

Are you sure you're using AIN0 - and not A0 ?

How long are you keeping the pin connected to VDD or GND ?

Hello awneil and thank you for your reply. I have specifically connected the P0.02 pin to GND/VDD. The datasheet and the picture in the link you posted also suggest that I should connect the pins in that way. I tried holding the connection for a short period of time and for a long period of time (3 mins). Any more suggestions?
