Advertisement PDU Type settings

Hello,

 

I am using nRF52832, SDK_15.3.0, S132 SoftDevice and Segger for flashing the image.

 

How to select different Advertisement types ADV_IND/ ADV_DIRECT_IND/ ADV_SCAN_IND/ ADV_NONCONN_IND.

For example, for Beacon application need only non-connectable Advertisement packet. For this how to change the settings.

In the ble_app_beacon example you can change the advertising type in the function advertising_init():

static void advertising_init(void)
{
    .
    .
    .
    //Set the advertising type here
    m_adv_params.properties.type = BLE_GAP_ADV_TYPE_NONCONNECTABLE_NONSCANNABLE_UNDIRECTED;
    .
    .
    .
}
