I didn't get or found a final answer if there is a way to sniff BLE5 devices using the 52840dk platform?

The nRF Sniffer is compatible with the nRF52840 DK but does not yet support BLE5 packet sniffing. For a Bluetooth 5 packet sniffer, I would suggest having a look at this Sniffer tutorial.

My phone:: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 supports BLE5. is there any application that can detect BLE5 devices?

Looks like BLE5 is already gaining momentum in terms of devices/module - but there is lack of tools suport
