If you wish to use Eclipse. Better tutorial here http://embeddedsoftdev.blogspot.com/p/ehal-nrf51.html It is the EHAL library tutorial as well.
The nordic one is too old with lots of issues and it is only for importing makfile project not real Eclipse project
I just tried SES. It seems that SES has striped down C++ supports as well. Although it claims to use the lastest GCC and it can compile C++ code but most important features of the C++11 and above are removed. You will need the full GCC feture to compile the library. If want to use SES, you'll need to customize it to use the full GCC instead of the stripped down version provided.
how do i customize SES full GCC could you provide any link

I tried to change the tools/options to external gcc but it didn't work. One other way is to copy the missing includes into the internal gcc include folder. The new CrossWorks 4.4 has option for setting for external gcc. SES in one version behind so I guess you can wait until next version for that.
how do i customize SES
Again, that would be a question for Segger.
Is it worth it?
Nguyen Hoan Hoang has provided an Eclipse project, and instructions for using it - so why not just use Eclipse?
Alternatively, stick with 'C' and use the provided tools.
