pca10000 firmware update failed

So I installed the Master Control panel software, plugged in the PCA10000, whereupon I was advised to update the firmware in the PCA10000. The firmware update apparently failed, and now I have a bricked PCA10000. I have another PCA10000, but I'm loathe to plug that in for fear of bricking that too.

Plug the non-working one into your computer and open nRFgo Studio (64-bit version or 32-bit version.

In nRFgo studio try to do an erase all of the nRF51 chip on the dongle and then open Master control panel.
