flash programming PCA10000 using Master Control Panel

Hi, whenever i try to program the PCA10000( USB dongle) using MASTER CONTROL PANEL(3.4.0) i'm getting log messages like as below,

"........... Successful flash! Enabling read back protection for ALL regions Resetting, SysReset "

After returning to main window i'm getting log message's like

"[16:50:41.4] Loading... [16:50:48.5] No response from master emulator. [16:50:48.9] SERVER: Server has started"

so, what actually no response from master means? i cannot able to start the start discovery whenever i click on it, it says no command complete event received... i am totally new to this, please help me to overcome this.

Regards, Balaji

  • The firmware fix for this has now been done, and I've attached an updated hex file that can be flashed to a dongle to use Master Control Panel with a chip revision FA.

To flash it to your dongle, follow these steps:

    1. Plug your dongle.
    2. Open Master Control Panel.
    3. Go to File, Flash programming.
    4. Browse to the 0.9.0 firmware hex file.
    5. Select "Program".

You may have to replug the dongle and restart MCP afterwards to make things work.

There will be a new release of the Master Control Panel most likely next week that will include this file. The release will be done as soon as testing of the new Master Control Panel is finished, but we wanted to share this firmware now, since we know some of you are waiting eagerly for it.
