Selecting Nordic ANT+ Device to Read HR with Arduino/Teensy

We are developing a cycling application and are currently using a variety of ARM processors with BLE capability.  We require to add ANT+ capability to read Hear Rate monitor and integrate the readings into our own readings.  We are using Arduino/Teensy processor and would like to integrate that to a device that can read the ANT+ Heart Rate.   There are tons of such devices and the thisisant site is very confusing for such a simple request.

On the site they refer to your Nordic devices - but once again - nothing is clear as to what to use to interface to a Host processor.  We are developing our own PCB and would like a device we can mount on a PCB.  We would like it with RF capability and certified - as we do not want to go through that process. Ideally it should also include software libraries for Arduino/Teensy.

Can someone give us some recommendations as to devices and libraries please?

Thanks

  • Hi,

It's difficult to give you a recommendation on which module to use since I don't know your requirements regarding antenna, GPIO and SIZE. I suggest that you take a look at this list and chose a module from the nRF52 series that fits your requirements. All of the modules that are listed are recommended by us. Alternatively, you can ask your regional sales manager regarding this and future sales questions. The contact information for you RSM is:
