nrf9160 read UICR values

Hi,

SDK 0.4.0 simple_mqtt project

Modem mfwnrf916007029alpha

I want to write an unique 4 bytes ID into each nRF9160 via nrfjprog.

So that, I can set subscription topic according this ID.

I can write the ID via "nrfjprog --memwr 0x00ff8000 --val 0xaabbccdd" command.

How to read this ID back in the mqtt project main.c?

Hi Leo,

You can read out such value like this in your application:

value = *(uint32_t *)MY_ADDRESS; 

If you want something more "fancy" you can use the Non-Volatile Storage subsystem.

NOTE: Please be careful where in the flash you store these values. This is especially important if you are going to use DFU, with regards to where the different partitions are located.
