Bluetooth mesh node alive

Hi,

We are developing mesh control lighting system with nrf52832, now we're able to control devices through mesh.

But now we're having problem with showing node state live or offline in the app. 

What is the best method for implement node alive state,

• By Health Model or
• Heartbeat 

And is there any example related to this heartbeat or health model

Monitoring whether a node is still active within a network is one of the two main purposes of the heartbeat message, so heartbeat should be a good choice there. For a heartbeat example you can have a look at this DevZone thread: Ble mesh heartbeat example.
