write to nordic eeprom without using CLI

I would like to store some parameters in nordic's non volatile memory and be able to restore them after power off.I am using the soft device s130.

I have checked both examples flash_fstorage and flashwrite but I do not understand the difference betwwen the tow .

Which one should I use and can I just use functions to read and write from eeprom without using CLI as in both exapmles.

There is also the possibility of using  UICR.

which one is recommended ?

Don't they have a limited endurance?

The thing is that the UICR is only 32 words - so you will (probably) use up the endurance far more quickly than with a decent wear-levelling strategy in Flash..

Again, the need for & effect of erasing  is inherent in any Flash - not specific to Nordic:
