nRF9160 DK NC pins

Hi,

I noticed that some of the GND_Shield pins on the nRF9160 (described in the product specification) are not connected on the nrf9160 DK. Why are they not connected to GND?

Hi Rick,

 

Nice catch, but these are not grounded in DK v0.x.y as the SiP engineering revision used in these did not have these pins tied to the ground shield. DK v1.0.0, which has the production version of the SiP, will have these pins grounded as well. You should follow the pinout in the PS for your design.
