What is the purpose of COEX pin in nRF9160 LTE module?

Hello All,

We are designing a product based on Tracking device, for this we use nRF9160 module & use controller #nRF52840 to send AT command for LTE and GPS.

We do not use Bluetooth connectivity function of nRF52840 controller.

We do not familiar with the COEX pin of nRF9160 module, only know few things ,let me tell you as per my understanding : COEX0, COEX1 and COEX2 pin is use to avoid external interference such as RF signal (Bluetooth signal), please correct if i'm wrong.

As i said earlier we do not use controller as a Bluetooth device, so i just want to confirm that COEX pin is required if we use only LTE and GPS antenna and not use any Bluetooth antenna.

Thank you

Shashikant
