MultiRole application and 1 M (Central) and 2 M (Peripheral)

Hello,

Is this possible to use different speeds at same device for different roles.

I have device that is working in peripheral role for other device and need to send lot of data to this other device (and like to use 2 M speed).

Another role this device acts as central is connected to peripheral device which is sending small packets (5 - 10 bytes) 30-50 times per second. I like to use 1 M speed for this connection.

Is this possible or do I have to use either 1 M or 2 M at time ?

Hi

Different links can run at different phys, if that is what you are asking. Essentially each link you set up can negotiate a new phy independently. 

It is also possible to use different phys for the TX and RX within a single connection, in cases where one of the devices has a better output power or RX sensitivity than the other device.
