different advertisemet packets for ibeacon and normal connection

Hi,

I want to implement BLE based access control application. I have developed nRF51822 based Peripheral device & iOS application based central device to pair with the peripheral.

as you know ibeacon provides special feature that based on beacon advertising packet it can be possible to know distance between central and peripheral ( based on RSSI, like far, near, immediate notification )

as per our requirement peripheral shall be connect to central when they are immediate to each other.

my understanding is that to achieve this it requires 2 types of advertising packets 1) normal advt packet for connection and 2) beacon advt packet

is there any sample code available to achieve above functionality?

You can use the https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nRF51-multi-role-conn-observer-advertiser to run 2 advertisers. One advertiser can be run from the softdevice and the other using the timeslot API in the github example.
