nRF52 with STM32

Hello,

I have bough the NRF52 dev kit, and I'm planning to use STM32 to let it enabled by bluetooth.

I'm very beginner and I don't know how to use it to connect with STM32,

1. What kind of protocal is used to interface nRF52 with STM32 ?

2. Is there a firmware that the nRF52 should be flashed with so that I can connect it with STM32 ?

The easiest way is to use the UART.  There are examples code for UART in the sdk but you need write your own firmware though.  There is also the connectivity example in the SDK that you can based on too.  Before adding the STM32 in the system, evaluate to be sure if it is absolutely required. The nRF52 is a M4F 64MHz with hardware FPU.  It is a very capable MCU.  It can handle a lot more than you might think.  Adding a second MCU means adding costs and complexity.  See this video showing the nRF52 streaming environmental sensor data (humidity, temperature,  pressure, air quality) at the same time as inertial motion sensor data (accel, gyro, mag, quaternion, ...) over bluetooth in realtime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl9jAOQTsLI

The problem i have no clue how to connect STM32 to nordic nRF52. There are a lot of things that are confusing like services, nrf chip. Though to recap, Should I flash the nRF with the UART example, then communicate with it using STM32 ? My design needs nRF to be a slave, because we use ST for another devices.

As I said previously, the easiest way to connect the nRF52 to an other MCU such as the STM32 is via UART.  You need to define your requirements and write the appropriate firmware on both side.  That is why I aslo told you if possible use only one MCU, the nRF52 and not using STM32.  Which makes the firmware a lot easier to deal with.  The services stuffs are Bluetooth related only.  You should start by learning how the nRF52 works first.  See this blog to get to know Bluetooth firmware programming the easy way http://embeddedsoftdev.blogspot.com/2017/12/bluetooth-le-with-nordic-nrf51-nrf52.html

Thanks for your reply. Is there AT Commands from ST to Nordic ? What should I send to it ?
