You can find Thingy firmware on Github.

If you want the MPU9250 driver code used on Thingy, you can find it here.

The Thingy firmware is a standalone application, so you can think of it as a huge example in itself. Nordic does not provide any stand-alone examples with the accelerometers used in the Thingy:52 HW.
