Merge.hex firmware build

Hi, 

after following the tutorial about building the asset tracker firmware I came to the problem of generating merge.hex file. The zephir.hex file is generated, but the merge.hex version is missing. Is there an additional setting to enable this?

A am using Windows 10 with Segger studio.

Hi,

 

Unfortunately, the current version of Segger embedded studio (nordic edition), v4.16, does not generate a merged.hex file. In the upcoming version, this will be added.

To work around this now, you can enter the build folder in cmd/terminal, and write "ninja" to generate the merged.hex file. "ninja flash" should then flash the board.
