The nrf91670dk Asset Tracker application lose connection / does not transmit data after some (variable) time

Hi,

I am running the Asset Tracker application from a fresh clone of the 0.4.0 nRF connect SDK. Using the supplied iBasis SIM.

It connects after booting, and I can monitor the messages on nrfcloud.

After some time (from 15 minutes to a few hours) there is no new data received / visible on nrfcloud, and the device is listed as "not connected" on the nrfcloud overview.

The status LED on the board (LED4) is constantly lit - thus it believes it is connected.

There is no indication in the 9160 console of a disconnect / error that can allow me to work around it (restart / reconnect).

The below screenshot shows an example where the connection failed after less than 15 minutes. Also note the irregular arrival of samples towards the end.

Does anybody else see this? Is this a known instability / problem?
