Error message "Installer integrity Check failed" while upgrading to nRF Connect Desktop v2.7.0

Myself and others have received this error message

while upgrading nRf Connect for Desktop.

Despite the error message, the installer seems to have completed correctly.

Do we need to uninstall and reinstall, or it is safe to assume that nRF Connect for Desktop and it's applications are installed correctly?

Post update, the only issue I observed is the Programmer app needed to be manually updated.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Jeff

  • Hi Jeff

The nRF Connect for Desktop v2.7.0 that was released today is broken. The only fix is to uninstall and revert back to the more stable v2.6.0. We are working on fixing this, but for now please be patient. If you get the pop-up asking you to update to v2.7.0, click NO. Please share this with anyone asking as well.

    Bet regards,

    Simon
