Hi,
The thingy:52 itself is not certified as it's not meant to be used in a end product but rather as a prototype.

Thank you Jared. However there is a difference compared to other development boards, any end user may buy the thingy:52 and use it at home connected to their phones to monitor the temperature, air quality etc. It is a fully working product out of the box.
As you can't control who buys and how the product is used, wouldn't that require an FCC certification?
Hi,
From our product description of the thingy:52 :
"The Nordic Thingy:52 is an easy-to-use prototyping platform, designed to help in building prototypes and demos, without the need to build hardware or even write firmware."
However, this doesn't mean that future versions of the thingy won't be certified.
List of devices that are certified by Nordic here.
