Errata 202 - Startup variations in rev C

Hi Nordic!

In our design we see variations in the rev C lot we have received. We are using the VDDH REG0 regulator.
Some of our ICs turn ON with no problem. And even when loaded with around 20 ohms on the VDD they still start with no problem.
Other of our rev C ICs do not startup, but startup and hold their voltage when externally is supplied with <1mA extra on the VDD (practically done with just using a resistor to an external 1V8 source and just touching the NRF VDD.
Is it correct that your rev C lot varies like this?

On one of our non-self-starting prototypes we have replaced the rev C with a rev D IC and the problem is gone.

We just would like to be a little more confident that it is in fact the ERRATA 202 problem that we see.

There is no guarantee that every chip will suffer from an errata. How many Eng. C chips have you tested, and how many of them are experiencing the startup failure? None of the chips fail startup if the VDD pin is not externally supplied during startup right? If this is correct, and that the problem is resolved entirely with Eng. D chips and later, this is very likely errata 202.

    Best regards,
