Nrf connect doesn't start

whenever I use nrf connect desktop app in my Linux system for power profilling.

The power profiling kit doesn't start and keeps on giving the same error

There are similar issues in the forum but I still couldn't find the right solution to this.

Please help me out with this issue

  • Hello,

At some point, did you program your PPK with some other FW than the PPK firmware? If so, do you get the question whether you want to program the PPK when you start nRF Connect Power Profiler, and select the device from the drop-down menu?

If that doesn't solve it, are you sure you have set up the PPK correctly according to this guide?

If you are using a DK with the PPK, do you have the USB cable plugged into the DK or the PPK? (it should be the DK).

    The switches on the PPK:

Is SW4 on "DK", SW2 on "DK" and the little switch near the center of the PPK called "COM" Is that on "DK" as well?

If this doesn't shed light on the issue, can you describe what you are trying to measure, and how you have connected your PPK?

    Best regards,

    Edvin
