nRF9160: LTE Sensor Gateway

I want to use this sample application, to connect with nRF52832 DK loaded with Running Speed and Cadence Application. In other words I want to use nRF9160 as a gateway for nRF52832 pushing to the cloud the running speed and cadence. Can anyone assist? I am really new with nRF9160.

Do you want to build a new app or try it as a BLE Gateway.You can use this example and build on the BLE part to read any BLE sensor

I want to try it as a BLE Gateway. And I have put this example on my nrf9160, but how do i get it to connect with my nRF52832? that is where i am stuck

By default, it will only connect to Thingy:52. This is done in the code by using a scan filter with the Thingy:52 UUID. You will need to change this, e.g. my adding the UUID of the peripheral device you are using. See this line.

Yes, and I have changed it this way. 

with the service uuid for running speed and cadence given as 0x1814 and it is still not working. 

1. what is the advertisement UUID (I am not sure I am using the right one)

2. I tried to use BT_UUID_TMS in the filter and it is still not working. 

please assist
