Build Failed

Dear All,

I am using the NRF51822. I downloaded All the latest SDK and Segger Embedded Studio. No matter which sample project I choose I get the same error.

C:/Nordic_Semi/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345/examples/peripheral/blinkyCustom/pca10040/blank/ses/Output/Debug/Exe/blinky_pca10040.hex 64-bit address 0x4ccc2300000000 out of range for Intel Hex file
C:/Nordic_Semi/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345/examples/peripheral/blinkyCustom/pca10040/blank/ses/Output/Debug/Exe/blinky_pca10040.hex: bad value

Maybe if this error still exist 1 year later this may be the solution :-

Please downgrade, and use a different version, e.g. 7 2017-q4-major or 2018-q2 instead.

Although I downloaded the above version I don't know how to use it. How do I install it, How should I configure Segger to Use it?

If this is not the problem, then does anybody have some Ideas of what I am doing wrong.

Hi, 

Which version of Segger do you use? For nRF5SDK, you should use the Segger download from SEGGER downloads.

If you follow the instructions in Installing SEGGER tools, you do not need to change it. At least, it's for  SEGGER V4.12. 

The link you found is for nrf91 project. The Segger setting is different to nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345. 

Could you try SEGGER V4.12 from SEGGER downloads? Please let me know it can help you or not.

Your Right , it turned out to be my project output folder and env variables.. I deleted the output folder and reset all env to default.
