Unable to update Firmware on nRf9160

I'm having trouble connecting with LTE, so I decided to update the FW and see if that helps, but I am having trouble even getting started with this.

This is on Windows Home 10

I downloaded the zip file and extracted it

Went through the README.rst

Extracted the second zip

and ran the command on the command prompt to get this error

I'm a bit stuck and any help would be appreciated

I made the same error yesterday. The line you copied from the README contains "nrf9160_mdm_dfu-0.10.1.....", but the .WHL file has "...-0.10.0...."

Entering "pip install nrf9160_mdm_dfu-0.10.0+dev-py3-none-any.whl" should work.

I tried the new filename, seem to still be getting the same error.

I can see from the images that you are running these commands in different folders, the first time in "C:\Users\recor\Documents\Modem Update" and the second time in "C:\Users\recor". I believe you need to run the command in the same folder as nrf9160_mdm_dfu-0.10.0+dev-py3-none-any.whl is located.

Yeah, that was brought to my attention by Martin, but it still seems to spit out the same error
