Service data with 128-bit UUID on nRF8001

Hi

I want to use my own 128-bit UUID with an nRF8001 chip to send data (soil moisture) to many devices at once without them having to connect to the device. It seems that this might be possible with the nRF51, but I haven't found anything related for the nRF8001

The error I'm getting when trying to generate the source code from nRF Studio:

Broadcast pipe not supported on a service with 128 bits Remove this pipe from service: Soil Moisture characteristic: Soil Moisture Level Or make service 16 bit

You are correct. The 128bit UUID cannot be advertised on the latest nRF8001 firmware. I would suggest that you use the Device Information Service (16bit UUID) and add the infomration that you want to it in the broadcast. You can add the the 128bit UUID and its value as the contents of the broadcast in the Device Information Service.
