"cannot connect J-Link via USB"

Hi

I'm really new to this, forgive me it's a stupid question. I'm using the nRF52 DK from Nordic.

I started with the "Developing with SEGGER Embedded Studio", but when I tried to "connect to JLink" under "target" menu, it shows like that

In Device Manager

and here's the

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

It's not the COM port that matters here - it's the J-Link driver:

Although it's odd that one should be present but not the other!

weirdly, it dose work after I reinstalled the same version

You do seem to get an awful lot of pop-ups during the installation asking to install many different drivers - it can look like it's asking you the same thing over & over!

    Open mouth

Maybe you accidentally clicked 'cancel' instead of 'ok' on one of them?

Or just missed one of them ...

Anyhow - good that it's working now!
