Hi,

I`m using MDBT50QRX (Raytac Nordic 3rd party for modules) I need to connect and program the firmware hex file (connectivity_4.1.1_usb_with_s140_6.1.1.hex) which is on Nordic path   https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-ble-driver by the programmer in Nordic nRF Connect app.

Is there any app I need to use or I need to do it from Nordic app nRF Connect?

The module (MDBT50QRX) can`t  identify  on nRF Connect app (v 3.0.0) programmer also in version v 2.7.0.

 

Please advise.

You'd have to confirm with Raytac whether they ship modules with a bootloader installed.

Otherwise you will need a J-Link for programming.

Hi,

The part is dongle with nRF52840 (see picture attached) so it not make sense it without boot loader because there is no J-Link interface header.

Additionally ,before programming the firmware the dongle cant identify by the programmer in the nRF Connect as serial port (no address), why is it?
