Hi.
Which "HEX code" are you talking about? Are you talking about the J-Link firmware? Have you put your DK in bootloader mode?
If you have put it in bootloader mode, do the following:
1. Download this .bin file and place it on your Desktop, or some place easily accessible: J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi 170724.bin
2. Open the This PC folder.
3. Hold the button IF BOOT/RESET down, and switch the power OFF, then switch the power ON, on the device.
4. A folder named BOOTLOADER should now appear, drag and copy the file you downloaded into this folder (this folder will only be visible for around 30 seconds)
5. Power OFF and power ON your device, the device should now work.
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
I got the reply from my customer yesterday about the HEX code issue.
Please see the comment that provided by my customer in below.
"I have tried but when plugged into USB port, the dongle does not detect
so it is not able to go into Bootloader mode."
Please help to review and advise.
Thanks.
Hi.

If your customer uses a nRF52 Dongle he should take a look at this programming tutorial. It shows you how to put the Dongle in Bootloader mode and program it.
Best regards,

Hi Andrea,
I got an update from my customer and please refer to the comment in below.
As per customer :
I know how to program a nRF52840 dongle DK. The issue we have right now is that we had fabricated a nRF52840 dongle using Nordic's shared PCB files. This nRF52840 chip is totally blank and does not have the Open USB bootloader, how do we program the Open USB bootloader into our blank dongle and set the correct MBR as well? Any steps and Hex code for the Open USB bootloader?
The nRF52840 Dongle is shipped with an Open USB bootloader which allows it to be programmed without the need for a debugger. You do not need to understand the bootloader in order to use it, as most of the DFU related stuff is typically handled by the nRF Connect Programmer app. However, an application developer must be aware of the existence of the bootloader and adjust the memory layout of the application accordingly.
Can you please help to review and advise?
Thanks.
