Perform whitelist without Peer Manager, ID manager modules

Hi,

I am using SDK 15.3.0 for nRF52840.

We don't want to use peer manager and id manager as we don't need bonding.

We added the remote device with public address type to whitelist.

We have come across case for whitelisting the remote advertisement reports of advertisers when we scan with filter policy.

But not able to scan the white listed device.

Can anyone suggest us the solution.

Hello,

I guess you can refer to the HID examples on reference to bonding and whitelist. I understand you don't want to use peer manager and support bonding, but you may still compare the actual softdevice api calls and parameters with your own implementation that way. Make sure that you understand that peers using public addresses can be whitelist without bonding, but for peers using private resolvable addresses (and that is the majority of devices out there) you need to bond to get the IRK that allow you to whitelist.
