Segger terminal outputs infinite nonsense

Hi!

I am trying to get a basic  NRF_LOG_INFO("some text here"); to print text to a terminal in Segger Embedded Studio. I'm using Termite as the terminal and SDK 15.3.0. To print to the terminal works great with some examples but for the ble_app_uart example, and some others, the terminal just prints infinitely like in the picture below. Any idea why this is? I tried to erase the board completely to upload the code again, reset the terminal and so on.

 Which backend are you using for the logging module?

I'm not sure this is what you mean, but this is the enabled backend:

Also, I changed the USB port for connecting the nRF52840, and now it doesn't print infinitely anymore, but it does only print like this with no text:

If you're using RTT as a backend for the logger module then you can't use the serial terminal Termite since RTT use the SWD interface. You should use J-link viewer or the debugger window in SES.
