Extended Advertising

Hi,

I aim to scan other beacons around me and get their RSSI values, then put this data in my advertisement. There will be many beacons so I need a big space for that data that's why I want to use extended advertising. 

1) When I use ble 4.0 type advertisement, it was taking ~5ms to finish the advertisement, now how long it will take to finish 255 byte adv data? What is the minimum adv interval for extended advertising?   

2) Other channels apart than 37,38,39 have been using to send AUX_ADV_IND. And my other beacons only advertise ADV_EXT_IND , so when I scan I will use only channel 37,38,39. Does it mean that I can scan beacons and send AUX_ADV_IND at the same time?

Hi,

1. I don't have any numbers but the fastest way to find out would be to test it yourself I think. The minimum advertising interval would be the same as regular advertising, 20ms.

2. I think you can do this but you would need to run the device as both central and peripheral(Scanner and advertiser) concurrently.
