Possible to disable PA/NA control

I'm trying to use the PA/LNA control feature in S112.  However I only want this to be enabled when under specific conditions/configurations at runtime.  So I need a way for enabling and disabling the control of these pins from the SD.  Is this possible?  Can I disable the GPIOTE/PPI task which is controlled by the SD for pin control?  I keep getting errors when I disable the GPIOTE task as it says the pin is under use.

I copied the bare metal implementation inside the mesh_la_na.c source code that seems to be working.  Not sure if there is an SDK API was of doing this but the bare metal method seems to work
