How to disable power on devkit's nRF52 when programming external board

Due to some problems with VTG and GND detect I sometimes program an on devkit nRF52 instead of my external board and that causes lost time, because it's not straightforward to detect. Is there a way to disable devkit's nRF52 and use only PCA10040 to program an external board?

Hi,

I'm not sure if disabling the nRF52 would solve the problem as the Interface IC could possibly face some issues when it tries to program the nRF52 when VTG and GND isn't detected properly. I would instead recommend fixing the issue with VTG and GND instead.

Facing a similar issue. It can be quite annoying to be not sure about wheather or not the external board is programmed.

No,T he interface chip can only be separated from the rest of the power domain by switch 6 which puts the board in nRF only mode, this disconnects the interface chip from the power domain and therefore makes it unusable for debugging external DUTs.
