WDT RESET(nrf52840)

Hi frnds,

I am using the ble_central and ble_peripheral code (nrf52840).

i am sending 400 bytes of data to central from peripheral continuously, sometimes the boards get unpaired. if i restart the board then it is being connected. can u please help me to initialize the internal watchdog timer  to reset .

I would request Nordic to look into it and help us to resolve the issue...

There's an example on how to use wdt in the peripherals folder:

However; your actual problem seems to be that you are getting disconnected and not advertising again afterwards. When you disconnect, do you see a reason? Do you start advertising again afterwards?

Hi Hakon alseth,

The reason is ,time interval between each message from slave to master is 100millisec. message is transmitting fine for sometime(1min).Then it is getting unpaired. For 500 millisec it is fine.i have to reset the power to pair again.

i have referred the wdt example code. i have added the header files and initialized the wdt. i am getting the following errors.

In sdk_config.h, you need to enable the libraries. Try setting:

#define WDT_ENABLED 1
#define NRFX_WDT_ENABLED 1

hi,

it is working fine in central code.but in peripheral code, there are no driver files.i tried to add the drivers and tried to build it up.there are no errors but wdt is not working in the peripheral code.

wdt is restting for every two seconds.

i am sending 500bytes from peripheral to central with the time interval of 100 millisecs. for 5 minutes its working fine,but after 5 minutes the unpairing is happening. i tried to initialize wdt ,its restarting for every 2secs. i want wdt to reset only when it is hanged.
