windows does not recognize the sniffer

 Hi,

I am trying to use nRF52832 evaluation board as a BLE sniffer. I have windows 7.

I installed nRFgo studio and downloaded nRF Sniffer v1.0.1.

I plugged the board into USB and it appeared as COM10 and ran ble-sniffer_win_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.exe file

It seems like the application does not recognize my board.

Please help.

  • Hi,

I closed the wireshark and reopened it and for some reason i dont see any BLE packets.

LED1 in the sniffer board (nRF52832 DK) works fine (blinks as it should be).

The View>Interface Toolbars>nRF Sniffer option is on (enabled)

nRF Sniffer COM10 is shown at the bottom of wireshark interfaces - but with a straight line (no activity).

When i hit the "start capturing packets" button in the wireshark i see no packets at all.

Can you help me understand what could be the cause of that?

    Thanks.
