When I select LTE_PDP_CMD to enable the ability to setup an apn I get a SyntaxError: Unable to parse JSON string error.

I can confirm that I also see this error. Thank you for reporting this to us.

As a temporary workaround, I would recommend setting this directly in prj.conf instead of configuring from SES.
