want to test bidirectional working function in uart

hi ....

i want to test the bidirectional working , i am using uart peripheral example , i have taken  the rxd,txd,cts pin from Nrf52840 board interfaced with TTl uart ... i am getting any data on termite 

why ?

do we need to interface all pins including rts cts?

Before making any modifications at all, did you get the example working as-is on a Nordic Dev Kit?

That should always be your first step.

So the next thing to test, with that unmodified example on the DK, is that your "TTl uart" (whatever that is) can see the data between the nRF and the DK's  onboard USB-to-UART:

Note the use of two terminals - so that you can see both Rx & Tx data ...

And an oscilloscope is invaluable.

thank its working .. one more how to  get a value and put a value by adding up of sum value 

example A =cr + 10;

while (app_uart_get(&cr) != NRF_SUCCESS);
while (app_uart_put(A) != NRF_SUCCESS);
